As a doula, I offer three packages:
This is my basic package: in case you just want good support.
Introductory conversation of approximately 1 hour with you and your (birth) partner (if you have any). I am happy to visit you to get to know each other a bit and experience if it clicks. This conversation is completely free of charge and without any further obligations.
Three sessions of approximately two hours, in the comfort of your own home at a moment that suits you (evenings and weekends possible). Together we investigate your wishes and needs and we will actively work with various tools and techniques that contribute to the best possible experience of the birth of your baby.
A nice massage of neck and shoulders or your legs and feet with oil. We plan this after one of the prenatal sessions, the maternity visit or the final conversation.
I am happy to help you explore, document and communicate your birth wishes.
If you want the partner to have an active role during the birth, I will include him/her in everything (s)he can do to support you. Think of massage- and other relaxation techniques and counter pressure. I can also give him/her tools for informed decision making. In this way, (s)he will be the best birth partner you could ask for!
From week 37 I am available 24/7 for the start of labor. When the time comes, I will make my way to you in consultation when I am needed and I will support you during the delivery. With the certainty of an English speaking back-up doula.
In the first week(s) after the birth I come by for a short maternity visit. After about 6 weeks, we will meet one last time for the final conversation in which we look back on the entire process together.
Am I your doula? Then you can use all kinds of handy 'tools' and stuff with me at no extra cost: from bath to ball and from Tens to the finest books.

An additional prenatal session of 2 hours. Instead of the extra session, I could also accompany you to an appointment with your obstetrician or gynecologist.
In addition to being a doula, I am also a professional (birth) photographer. Therfore I can also document this new chapter in your life for you. This extra can be used as a pregnancy photo shoot, mini birth Photography photo report or newborn photo shoot. You will receive 30 high-resolution photo files (which you can choose yourself), professionally edited. If you opt for a maternity photo shoot, we will combine it with one of the preparatory sessions. If you go for a newborn shoot, we will combine this with the maternity visit or the final conversation.
It can be very nice for new parents to be able to read how the birth went and what happened when. I'll tell you this story: Lovingly and with an eye for the valuable details. From the start of labor to the moment you first meet your baby. You get this unique, personal story in a document to keep for the rest of your life: on extra thick paper in a beautiful gift box.

Doula-support and birth photography
In addition to being a doula, I am also a professional (birth) photographer. Therfore I can offer a very special package that combines doula-support with birth photography:

The birth story of your baby in photos: from the contractions to the first moments together (up to 2 hours after birth). At least 50 digital photos, partly in black and white and partly in colour. Extra fast delivery of max. 4 photo files (e.g. for the birth announcement) possible on request.
Linen, high-quality flat-lying album with 20 photos of your choice (size 20 x 20 cm).

If you choose me as your doula, you will also receive a 15% discount on all photo packages. For example, you can book a maternity photo shoot or newborn photo shoot at an affordable price. This discount applies to all photo shoots you book in the period up to and including six weeks after birth. This discount does not apply to additional digital photos and travel expenses.
Depending on how and where you arranged your health insurance, you may be able to get part of the costs - as a pregnancy course - compensated by your health insurance. If you are curious whether this also applies to you, please contact your health insurance company. Stories of New Life is registered at the Dutch trade register and has an AGB code for healthcare providers. After the last prenatal sesion I can provide a certificate of participation that can be submitted to your health insurance.

Payment is made in three instalments by default (2% discount when paying in one instalment)

Do you want to be well prepared for giving birth, but do you not need a doula during the actual birth? Maybe my 1-on-1 birth preparation is something for you.
This birth course is completely tailored to you and you don't have to leave the house. You can also book individual 1-on-1 coaching sessions with me. In a preliminary telephone conversation,
we will discuss together how I can support you and I will make a estimation of the costs.
